Amman, Jordan (September 2016) – Abdali Mall; the New Beating Heart of the new Abdali, was recently announced as the Winner for a Cityscape Awards for Emerging Markets 2016 in the Retail Project (Built) category during a Ceremony held in Dubai, UAE on September 6th.
The Cityscape Awards for Emerging Markets have recognized 13 of Asia’s finest projects in real estate development and architecture. Abdali Mall was one of the 37 finalists which were shortlisted from different markets, and the winners were chosen by a panel of 16 judges, including academics, chartered surveyors, leading architects and sustainability experts.
Eng. Abdul Majeed AlKabariti, CEO of URC Jordan, owned by KIPCO; one of the biggest investment holding companies in the MENA region, expressed his pride for winning the award by saying: “We’re proud of this upscale landmark in our capital, Amman, and we’re extremely honored to compete with international projects. Through our work represented by United Real Estate - Kuwait, we aim to apply the different standards in sustainability, environment, and economics, in which URC is one of the leading companies in this field through its range of investments and projects in the MENA region.
